The Christmas market in the forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace, in front of its yellow façade, offers crafts, regional food and activities for children. It usually opens in early November and stays open after Christmas until 6 January.
The Spittelberg Christmas Market opens in the streets of Vienna’s seventh district from 13 November to 23 December 2026. Craft and food stalls run from 2 to 9:30 pm on weekdays and from 11 am to 9:30 pm at weekends and on public holidays. The 2026 children’s programme has not yet been published.
The Christmas village on Maria-Theresien-Platz, between the two major museums, offers crafts and food from 20 November to 26 December 2026. It opens at 11 am on weekdays and 10 am at weekends, with shorter hours from 24 to 26 December.
The Wiener Christkindlmarkt opens in front of Vienna City Hall from 13 November to 26 December 2026. Stalls offer crafts, gifts, food and drinks. Regular hours are 10 am to 10 pm daily; on 24 December the market closes at 6:30 pm.
