Live music events in Vienna

The free Jazz Brunch presents Austrian jazz acts at Vienna's Rathausplatz on Sundays from noon to 2 pm. The open-air series is organised with the Film Festival at Rathausplatz and runs until 6 September.

This evening Danube cruise combines Viennese music, a buffet and live entertainment on board. Boarding starts at 6:15 pm, the cruise runs from 7 to 10 pm in all weather, and different ships and music acts are used on the remaining dates.

The sixth edition of Jazz at Schlingermarkt brings a free evening concert to Floridsdorf Market, combining live jazz with the open neighbourhood atmosphere of the market.

The 11th Währing Jazz Autumn brings free live jazz to Kutschkermarkt beside Gertrud Church. The afternoon concert is planned outdoors, with the lower church hall serving as the bad-weather venue.

Heinz aus Wien celebrate their 30th stage anniversary with guests at the venue where they played their first concert in 1996. The open-air show starts at 8 pm, with doors from 6 pm.

The Reindorfgasse street festival fills the neighbourhood street for two afternoons and evenings across three stages. Live music, DJ sets and readings are joined by exhibitors, food trucks, walking acts and a children's programme. Admission is free on both days.

Die Toten Hosen perform at Ernst Happel Stadium on September 12, 2026. Doors open at 4:30 pm and the concert starts at 5:30 pm; the promoter currently lists the show as sold out.

Die SchlossCapelle performs works by Mozart, Haydn and Vivaldi in the Brahms Hall. Vivaldi's The Four Seasons is the centrepiece; according to Musikverein, the concert runs from 8 pm to 10 pm.

Lotte brings her Wenn du tanzen willst tour to the WUK Hall. New songs blending dream pop, expansive melodies and a 1970s aesthetic meet the singer's direct, personal live presence with her band.

AnnenMayKantereit perform at Wiener Stadthalle, Hall D, on September 19, 2026 at 7:30 pm. The official shop currently lists the concert as sold out.

Waves Vienna combines a three-day international showcase festival with a music conference, panels, workshops and networking. The programme includes more than 100 concerts and industry events.
