In the glasshouses of the Hirschstetten Flower Gardens in the twenty-second district, the Vienna City Gardens team presents a Christmas exhibition with floral scenes, alongside an Advent market. It usually runs from mid-November until shortly before Christmas.
The Wintermarkt at Riesenradplatz runs from 20 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, with food stalls, attractions and a stage. Admission to the market is free. The organiser says the concert programme will be published in October; special hours apply at Christmas and on New Year’s Eve.
The Christmas market beside St Stephen’s Cathedral runs from 6 November to 26 December 2026. Stalls offer Austrian crafts, gifts and food. Regular hours are 11 am to 9 pm daily, with special hours over Christmas.
The Christmas market at Am Hof opens from 13 November to 23 December 2026 in Vienna’s first district. More than 70 exhibitors offer crafts, gifts and food. Market stalls close at 9 pm daily, while food stalls remain open until 10 pm.
