The Christmas village between the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Natural History Museum, around the Maria Theresa monument, offers crafts and food in the museum quarter. It usually runs from mid-November to 26 December; the market took a one-year break in 2025.
The Spittelberg Christmas Market opens in the streets of Vienna’s seventh district from 13 November to 23 December 2026. Craft and food stalls run from 2 to 9:30 pm on weekdays and from 11 am to 9:30 pm at weekends and on public holidays. The 2026 children’s programme has not yet been published.
The Altwiener Christkindlmarkt on Freyung opens daily from 10 am to 9 pm between 14 November and 23 December 2026. It features crafts and an Advent programme; the organiser says the 2026 programme will be published from mid-October.
The Wiener Christkindlmarkt opens in front of Vienna City Hall from 13 November to 26 December 2026. Stalls offer crafts, gifts, food and drinks. Regular hours are 10 am to 10 pm daily; on 24 December the market closes at 6:30 pm.
