Vintage Vault Vienna brings a selection of vintage and second-hand clothing to Schönbrunner Schloßstraße for two days. Browse jeans, sweaters, jackets and tops on Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm. T-shirts cost €20, sweaters €30 and trousers €35; light jackets cost €45 and heavy jackets €65. Entry is free, with clothing sold individually.

A colourful altar in the Columned Hall and a programme exploring Mexico’s Day of the Dead: visit Stephany Rodríguez Cabañas’s ofrenda, decorate skulls or make paper skeletons with children. On 1 November, the artist introduces the altar in four free tours. Access to the ofrenda is free; many workshops and other tours require a ticket.
From 22 October to 3 November, the Viennale brings international films and conversations to Gartenbaukino, Stadtkino, Urania, the Austrian Film Museum and METRO Kinokulturhaus. The programme and ticket sales are open. Tickets are available online, by phone and at festival box offices. For sold-out screenings, queue numbers for possible remaining tickets are issued from 30 minutes before the start.
Familypark becomes a colourful Halloween fiesta with parades, magic and acrobatics. Families can enjoy daytime activities; the two haunted houses open at 4pm and are recommended for ages 14 and over. Circus-tent shows, haunted houses and face painting cost extra. The park opens daily from 11am to 9pm.
