On Austria’s National Day, you can visit the Austrian National Library’s State Hall and Papyrus Museum for free. Short State Hall tours start every half hour, and the Papyrus Museum offers guided tours in German and English. Children can make crafts and try writing on papyrus. Both venues are open from 10 am to 6 pm; the State Hall opens at 9 am.
