The Mariahilf Women’s Weeks bring workshops, talks, readings, movement and music to several venues in the sixth district from 12 to 23 October. The programme opens with an art performance and includes 19 announced sessions. Workshops are intended for women and girls; everyone is welcome at the other events. Admission is free, with material fees for two craft workshops. Registration is requested for many workshops.
The group exhibition HEIMAT explores belonging and origins at Projektraum Herwig Maria Stark from 15 to 24 October. Regular opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, 2 to 7 pm, and Saturday, noon to 4 pm. On 1 November, the artist introduces the altar in four free tours. Access to the ofrenda is free; many workshops and other tours require a ticket.
