Evelyn Plaschg performs excerpts from her album “Alphabet” at Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz. The sound performance combines everyday recordings, piano, tenor recorder, electronic textures and voice. It opens the “Lebt und arbeitet in Wien: Postscript” programme and runs from 7 to 8 pm. Admission is €5 and capacity is limited.

A colourful altar in the Columned Hall and a programme exploring Mexico’s Day of the Dead: visit Stephany Rodríguez Cabañas’s ofrenda, decorate skulls or make paper skeletons with children. A Halloween puzzle trail takes families through spooky secrets at the Children’s Museum. It is included in museum admission from 27 October to 2 November. Usual hours are 9:30 am–5 pm; on 29 and 30 October the museum closes at 3:30 pm, with last admission at 2:30 pm. Book a museum ticket for your visit.
