The Perseids peak on the night of 12–13 August 2027, according to the American Meteor Society. The meteor shower can be seen from Vienna under clear skies, though city lights and the bright Moon may hide fainter meteors. A dark spot with an open view of the sky gives you the best chance of seeing them.

What to expect

Under the title SO BRITISH!, the photo festival presents large-format images in Baden's parks, streets and squares. Its town and garden routes extend for around seven kilometres. The map pin marks the visitor centre; the Badner Bahn terminates at Josefsplatz within the festival area. Outdoor route in public space; visitor centre open Mon–Fri 11 am–5 pm and Sat–Sun 9 am–7 pm.

Puzzle Rally in the Allied Quarter

What to expect

The puzzle rally guides participants of all ages through the Allied Quarter with eight questions. Puzzle sheets can be picked up and returned during opening hours at the GB* district office on Nordbahnstraße; a small gift awaits after finding the correct solution.
