The Vienna season finale brings headphone dancing to Strandbar Herrmann. Two DJs offer separate channels of house, electronic music, hip-hop and pop, alongside alternative, indie and rock. Doors open and the event starts at 7 PM, ending at 2 AM on Sunday. Admission is restricted to ages 18 and over; bring valid photo ID to leave as a headphone deposit. September 12 is the weather fallback date, subject to an announcement by the organiser.

The exhibition presents around 80 influential Vienna Festival campaigns drawn from an archive of more than one thousand posters. At the MAK Poster Forum, it traces 75 years of changing visual language, cultural debate and festival identity. The MAK is open Tuesday from 10 am to 9 pm and Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm; it is closed on Monday.
